A visit is booked where we will discuss your pregnancy, your health and worries you may have and we will perform a fetal viability scan.
11-14 weeks
Nuchal scan and blood test for Down's syndrome.
16 weeks
General pregnancy blood tests.
22 weeks
Fetal anomaly scan.
24 weeks
A routine antenatal visit.
28 weeks
A routine antenatal visit.
Blood test for haemoglobin level and for glucose.
Blood test for rhesus antibodies if rhesus negative.
30 weeks
A routine antenatal visit.
32 weeks
Fetal wellbeing scan.
34 weeks
A routine antenatal visit.
Repeat blood test for rhesus antibodies if rhesus negative.
36 & 38 weeks
Visits to discuss labour.
Vaginal swab for Group B streptococcus.
Group B Strep Support
40 weeks or due date
A routine antenatal visit, 'stretch and sweep', and to discuss induction of labour and fetal monitoring.
This schedule is meant to be used as a
guide and would be tailored to the needs of each particular pregnancy.
